Schools in the city of Franklin fall under the domain of the Williamson County School District, a K-12 district serving nearly thirty-two thousand students across forty sites.

There are presently eight high schools, eight middle schools, twenty-three elementary schools, and one K-8 alternative school operating within the domain.

For the previous school year, students received a 99.7 percent promotion rate, and the district maintained test scores well above average in spite of its rapid growth.

Franklin High School
FHS makes it their goal to create an empowering environment for its students. Founded in 1920, FHS has a long history of helping pupils reach their maximum potential, and currently boasts an enrollment of just under two-thousand students. The schools test scores have remained well above state average and over the past few years numerous students have been vetted as National Merit Scholars. Recently, FHS was named the first International Baccalaureate School in the state! This means it will work in conjunction with professional educators from across the nation toward perpetual improvement!
